I agree, I think throwing motion is much more important than aiming. If you watch the BBC world championship with Taylor vs. Dunbridge, you'll notice that Taylor aims with the dart between his eyes, while Dunbridge pulls the point of the dart next to his right eye. I say just find something comfortable and then keep practicing it, doing it the same way every time.
